This week on the Good, Bad, or Bull$#*! podcast Beau, Michael, and Crofton talk turkey on the subject of veganism and vegetarianism. Er, we mean… “let’s talk tomatoes!” Is choosing (and here we distinguish choosing from being medically-required) a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle a misguided attempt to be purposefully countervalent to the mainstream culture of mass consumption of meat products, and serve as a mask for its true form as a rite of admission to a elite cultural group? Or, is choosing the vegan or vegetarian lifestyle a meaningful protest to our unquestioned acceptance of the unnecessary, horrific, and grievous treatment of living beings in the name of mass producing food products to feed the humans of our world?
